Ivan Rasiah is a senior development professional with over two decades of experience in the development sector in Sri Lanka. Ivan started his career in 2001 as the only local program officer at Japan Center for Conflict Prevention (JCCP) and managed the peace building portfolio for nearly two years. In 2004 he joined USAID/Sri Lanka as a project development officer for the Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) and managed the southern program operations. Since 2004, Ivan continued to hold senior program positions at USAID/Sri Lanka from Program Management Specialist with the Office of Humanitarian Assistance, Office of Governance and Vulnerable Populations (GVP) to Deputy Country Representative at Office of Transition initiatives (OTI), and more recently as the Deputy Office Director for Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA).

During the last twenty-four years, Ivan has designed and managed more than $200 million programs in different sectors that includes emergency response, disaster risk reduction (DRR), humanitarian assistance, conflict and early recovery, peace building and reconciliation, disability and psychosocial support, Disarmament, Demobilization and Rehabilitation (DDR), civil society and capacity building, food security and agriculture, crisis response and political transition programs.

Ivan is a founding partner of Infinity Impact Partners (IIP).. He holds Bachelors (BA) and Masters (MA) in International Relations from the University of Colombo.
