Our Story

Infinity Impact Partners (IIP) was born in January 2025 at a moment of profound change. That month, the world learned that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) would be closed out globally under the U.S. President Donald Trump Administration’s policy direction. For Sri Lanka and Maldives, this was not just another announcement. USAID had been a constant presence for over 75 years in Sri Lanka and over 15 years in Maldives, shaping the country’s development journey—from addressing malnutrition and later initiating green solutions to address food insecurity, from strengthening democracy and governance to advancing economic growth, private sector engagement, energy, environment, climate resilience, social cohesion, and rule of law. Its legacy ran deep across sectors and communities.
