Wenura Ilangasinghe is a proficient administrative and operations professional who served as the Deputy Executive Officer at USAID/Sri Lanka and Maldives, where he supported the Executive Office in general services, travel, procurement, and records management. He joined USAID in 2010, bringing with him a diverse background in international development operations and donor services. Prior to USAID, he worked in the HR section of the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka and held roles in the vocational training sector in Australia for over 8 years, including positions with the Australian Commonwealth and NSW Vocational Training Authorities. He also served as a Donor Services Coordinator at Amnesty International Australia for more than 3 years. His international experience includes temporary duty (TDY) assignments at USAID Missions in Maputo (Mozambique), Port-au-Prince (Haiti), and Kigali (Rwanda), providing critical support to Executive Office functions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Western Sydney and an MBA from the University of Wollongong, Australia.
